Inspect image & video metadata

Check supported embedded metadata in JPG, PNG and WebP images and MP4, MOV and M4V videos. Compare original and cleaned files locally.

Compare before and after

Inspect image and video metadata.

  1. Choose supported images or videos, then select Inspect metadata.
  2. For images, review supported embedded-block types such as EXIF, XMP and C2PA/provenance structures. For videos, review supported descriptive containers, timestamps and track descriptions.
  3. Clean a copy using the homepage cleaner or video AI label remover, then use its metadata-check button for an automatic comparison.

What the result means

A zero result means no fields or blocks supported by this scanner were found. Technical playback information and unsupported or stream-level metadata can remain in videos.

This inspector is a structural scan, not a full tag-value viewer, forensic wipe check or AI-generation detector. It does not inspect pixel watermarks or predict platform labels.

Supported formats and limits. Images: JPG, PNG, WebP · 100 MB each · 24 megapixels · 12,000 pixels per side. Videos: MP4, MOV, M4V · 500 MB each. Up to 20 files / 1 GB per batch. ZIP export: 200 MB maximum. Smaller batches may work better on phones.
